Andy Jahman is a revolutionary Nigerian roots reggae and lovers rock singer, songwriter, and recording artist. Tagged as the "voice for humanity" his music is rooted in truth, resistance, social consciousness, and humanity. Influenced by reggae icons including Beres Hammond, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Lucky Dube, Morgan Heritage, Steel Pulse, Max Romeo and Luciano. He combines traditional reggae rhythms with thoughtful lyrics that address love, justice, faith, resilience, and the everyday struggles of ordinary people.Born in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, Andy Jahman developed a passion for reggae music as a means of inspiring hope and confronting injustice. His songs frequently explore corruption, inequality, abuse of power, spirituality, perseverance, government failures and the importance of standing up for what is right. His lyrical theme earns him the tagline "The Voice for Humanity." He uses music to encourage unity, love compassion, and positive social change.He made his recording debut with the 8-track album, "I Will Stay With You" in February, 2026, introducing audiences to his signature music style; a blend of the conscious message of roots reggae and the classic melody of lovers rock. The album featured songs centered on love, encouragement, faith, and personal strength, including Be Strong, Holding On To You, Thieves In Power, and The Devils Are Here.Between May and July 2026, Andy Jahman expanded his artistic vision with the release of five singles including Who's Next, The Voice for Humanity, No Easy Way, Is This a Nation and What If I'm No More, further establishing his reputation for conscious songwriting that reflects contemporary social realities.His second project, Take It Back, 11-track album scheduled to be released in August 22, 2026 marked a more politically focused chapter in his career. Through songs that challenge corruption, injustice, and institutional failure, the album calls for accountability, responsible leadership, and active citizenship while remaining grounded in reggae's enduring message of truth, resistance, and hope. The album include songs like, Not Gonna Give Up, Dem Not Our Friends, Too Much, Nothing Lasts Forever, Zoo Country, System of Blood.Committed to preserving the tradition of conscious reggae, Andy Jahman continues to create music that speaks to both personal experience and the broader human condition, carrying forward a message of dignity, courage, and positive change.
